During the past 2 years, the Government of Cuyahoga County, Ohio has thoroughly analyzed its owned and leased real estate. This investigation has looked closely at all aspects of the County’s portfolio, including space utilization, operating costs, protocols, maintenance, and functionality. The resulting strategy will allow the County to consolidate its footprint, save significant dollars, spur economic development, improve service offerings, and reduce its environmental impact as an organization.
CBRE, in partnership with Chartwell Group and Ariel Ventures, has been engaged and authorized by Cuyahoga County to facilitate this strategy, consisting of 3 Initiatives:
Acquisition of approximately 225,000 SF of office space for Cuyahoga County’s Consolidated Administration Headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio.

In order to efficiently carry out this effort, CBRE has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document to solicit offers from property owners, developers, and purchasers. The Full RFP covering all 3 Initiatives of the consolidation is available at the Office of Procurement and Diversity located at 1219 Ontario Street, Room 110, Cleveland, Ohio, 44113. Alternatively, by navigating through the links for each of the above Initiatives, interested parties may download just those portions of the RFP in which they are interested. Potential Proposers are encouraged to submit offers for any or multiple Initiatives of the consolidation requirement, but it is not a requirement to address more than one Initiative in order to make a submission to Cuyahoga County.
All Potential Proposers are welcome to submit questions during the course of preparing proposals, but must first complete the RFP Registration and then present questions through the Frequently Asked Questions page.
